Riverside’s 16th Annual Stroke Symposium

The 16th Annual Stroke Symposium will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 6:30 – 7:30 am for breakfast and registration, with the event concluding at 3:45 pm, at the Newport News Marriott at City Center. Please join us for a day focused on the latest advances in caring for stroke patients.

We will discuss one of the most common stroke risk factors & management, demonstrate the importance of prehospital care for early diagnosis and treatment of stroke, review unique populations such as the pediatric or young adult, the pregnant patient, the migraine and stroke connection, diagnostic criteria for dementia and cerebrovascular accidents, Covid 19 & Stroke, Complex stroke presentations and specialized endovascular management. Explore the transition from hospital to home and importance of specialized stroke rehab.

For your comfort, we recommend bringing layers to the conference. Temperature fluctuations in the event space may vary, and dressing in layers will help ensure you stay comfortable throughout the day.
