Riverside's new campus on the Eastern Shore will offer hospital, cancer center and physician office services, but Riverside has a footprint that spans most of the Shore. Look to Riverside for long-term care and rehabilitation services in Parksley, home health and hospice services in Onley, day treatment for seniors in Accomac, and primary and specialty physician services from Parksley to Cape Charles.

Our New Campus: By the Numbers

  • 179,675: Total square footage of the campus's three buildings (Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital is 139,100;Riverside Shore Cancer Center is 15,185;and Riverside Medical Office Building is 25,390)
  • 52: Private inpatient rooms. Large private rooms mean more treatment can be given at the bedside. It also is more comfortable for visitors. Each inpatient room will offer a chair or loveseat that folds out to a bed for visitors to spend the night.
  • 13: Emergency beds.The emergency department offers 2 private triage rooms plus 13 private treatment rooms including a trauma room.
  • 3+2: 3 Operating Rooms plus 2 procedure rooms.
  • 85+: $ million. Cost to build a future-ready hospital from the ground up.
