Riverside Vascular Specialists

Our vascular medicine and surgery specialists diagnose and treat diseases and disorders of the blood vessels outside of the heart and brain. Commonly treated conditions include:

Diagnostic Testing
We provide noninvasive testing procedures at our office or at the hospital including vascular ultrasound.

Minimally Invasive Endovascular Surgery
Most of our minimally invasive procedures are performed on an outpatient basis. Common procedures include:

• Balloon angioplasty
• Stent procedures to treat blockages in blood vessels
• Aortic Aneurysm stenting/repair
• Venous ablation for varicose veins (in office)

Vascular Surgery
Common procedures include:

• Carotid surgery
• Hemodialyisis access surgery
• Leg bypass surgery
• Varicose vein surgery

• Aortic Surgery for aneurysm and occlusive disease

Physicians are available for consultation and follow up appointments at our Gloucester, Newport News and Williamsburg locations.

Office consultation requires a referral from your primary care physician. If you need our assistance in securing the referral, please contact us and we'll be glad to help.

If you need to change your appointment time, we appreciate notification at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled visit.

Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first appointment.

We accept most major insurance including Medicare. When you make your appointment, please confirm that we accept your insurance.

We've introduced a new electronic health record, which you can access via Riverside MyChart. You will have 24/7 access to parts of your health record by enrolling in MyChart .

Riverside Nurse telephone service
What can you do if you develop a cough at midnight? Call the Riverside Nurse, a free service of Riverside that's available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A registered nurse trained in telephone triage will answer your questions and, if needed, refer you to a physician for treatment. Call (800) 675-6368. Of course, if you have a life-threatening situation, call 911.
