For more than half a century, Peninsula Pathology Associates has provided services throughout Eastern Virginia from their state-of-the-art, hospital-based lab at Riverside Regional Medical Center. In 2021 there were 28,837 surgical patient cases in the Riverside health system that were diagnosed by the pathologists of Peninsula Pathology Associates.
As a collective, they believe in giving back and recognize how philanthropy plays a vital role in enhancing patient care and providing health programs in our communities. Pathologists are the physicians other clinicians consult to help diagnose diseases, develop medical treatment solutions or determine the state of a patient's health using the latest diagnostic tools available. Patients may have no contact with a pathologist, but they are an essential part of any health care team.
