Physical Therapist
After receiving a Bachelor's of Science in biology from Randolph-Macon College, Lauren earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University. Board-certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties, she also completed Riverside's sports physical therapy residency program and became a board certified Sports Clinical Specialist in 2018.
As a former competitive gymnast and field hockey player, Lauren's personal involvement with sports inspired her to become a Physical Therapist with an interest in serving the athletic population. Specializing in orthopedics, sports medicine and the Dartfish video running analysis, she enjoys teaching patients about how exercise can be used as a form of "medicine," effectively treating a variety of impairments and pain.
Lauren grew up locally in Yorktown and still enjoys living close to her family and the beach. Lauren can often be found spending free time with her husband and their two huskies or working out at the gym.
