Recovery and Rehabilitation

Recovering from spinal surgery or injury will likely include physical therapy to help you regain strength and mobility, but it may also include occupational therapy to help you learn to get back to your normal activities. Based on the severity of your injury or the complexity of your surgery, your care team will work with your physician to develop the best rehabilitation program for your needs. Riverside Health offers outpatient therapy and home health therapy in addition to acute and subacute inpatient rehabilitation centers.
