Join us for our 2025 Health Equity Panel: Heart Safe, Stroke Smart on Thursday, April 3, 2025!

We will talk about the risk factors of cardiovascular disease and the steps you can take to reduce your personal risk of stroke and heart attack.
  • Wellness, nutrition, exercise, stress management
  • Health factors including blood pressure, cholesterol levels, blood sugar, smoking
  • How genetics and family health history affect your risk
  • Recognizing symptoms to better advocate for yourself and your loved ones
At 5 p.m. we will have an interactive hour that includes a resource fair, blood pressure checks, exercise demonstrations, food, free merchandise & giveaways. An expert panel discussion will begin at 6:00 p.m.

Dementia Series: GEM States of Dementia

Join us for a Free workshop series for those caring for persons living with dementia.

This workshop will focus on the GEM states of dementia. The GEMS Brain Change Model, developed by Teepa Snow and based on the Allen Cognitive Scale, recognizes six different brain states. Learn about each of them to recognize the shifts in our skills and abilities in any given moment.

Virtual Postpartum Health & Baby Care: Your Guide to the 4th Trimester

This is the class you didn't know you needed!

The Fourth Trimester, also known as the postpartum period, is a time of intense change in your baby, your body and your lifestyle.  Learn more about the adjustments you and your little one will experience in the weeks after delivery.

In this virtual class, your instructor will share examples of how to care for yourself and your baby, along with reassurance that the changes and ups and downs experienced in the 4th trimester are normal and to be expected.
