About Zachary Alexander Morie, DO

Dr. Morie earned his medical degree in 2017 from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He completed a family medicine residency with Riverside Health System and Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Morie is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Morie became a family medicine physician for the opportunity to care for people of all ages and establish long-lasting relationships with patients. He loves working collaboratively with his patients to help them make informed decisions regarding their health. Within the full spectrum of family medical care, Dr. Morie has special interests in mental health, lifestyle and preventive medicine and family planning, including the use of intrauterine devices and Nexplanon implants.

A Williamsburg native, Dr. Morie is happy to be able to practice medicine in the Hampton Roads area. Outside of work, he enjoys gardening, reading, playing sports and spending time with his family. Dr. Morie and his wife have two children.

Dr. Morie's patience and attention to my medical history (past visits) is very reassuring. It's obvious he reviews patents records before meeting you for an annual checkup. This is very comforting and definitely makes you feel your checkup is personalized.

I always love seeing Dr Morie. He always listens to my concerns and truly knows what I need. Dr Morie knows my history and is always asking how I am doing and how my job is. He worries about my stress and I can tell he truly cares about me and my health.

I would recommend DR. Morie to anyone because he's just that good and he really cares. He looks at you as a person that needs his expertise to keep me going not just a number like some doctors do I think he's wonderful.
