About Virginia May Caldwell, FNP

Virginia earned an Associate of Science in Nursing from Mercer County Community College in 2000. As a registered nurse, she later returned to her education, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Drexel University in 2014 and a Master of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University in 2018. Virginia is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is an active member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Virginia’s extensive experience in emergency and trauma nursing gave her the foundation to become a nurse practitioner who is passionate about specializing in neurology. Utilizing a holistic approach to improve her patients’ quality of life, Virginia cares for them as though they are her family. She is a trustworthy, active listener who takes the time to develop long-lasting patient-provider relationships.

Originally from Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Virginia lives in Newport News with her twin daughters and fiancé. She enjoys living on the same street as her sister and being close to beaches like the Outer Banks. Virginia loves traveling, especially cruising to Alaska and the Caribbean, as well as spending time with friends and family.
