About Tammy Oliver Johnson, FNP

Tammy O. Johnson, FNP-C, is a family nurse practitioner specializing in preventive medicine, health screenings, annual physicals, routine care, weight management, diabetes and high blood pressure. She provides lifelong care for patients, promoting healthy habits and developing treatment plans for both acute and chronic conditions.   

Tammy earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.   

Having grown up in the area, Tammy enjoys providing meaningful care in our community. She prides herself on collaborating with patients and building trusting relationships that promote good health.  

Tammy appreciates the beaches, waterways and local history of coastal Virginia. When she’s not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog on the water, fishing and camping.
