About Robert Michael Baldwin, MD

Dr. Baldwin earned his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. After an internship at Providence Hospital in Michigan, he completed a neurology residency at VCU Medical Center, where he remained for fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Baldwin's mission is to help patients obtain the highest possible quality of life. With a special interest in neuromuscular conditions, his extensive training equips him to effectively treat headaches, stroke, epilepsy, dementia, MS, Parkinson's disease and other conditions, making sure to align therapy with each patient’s preference and lifestyle.

Although he grew up in Indiana and enjoys visiting family there, Dr. Baldwin considers Virginia to be the place where he belongs. Married with two little girls, he loves nature and spending time on the water.
