About Myka LaFrance, FNP

Myka S. LaFrance, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who specializes in cancer care. Providing compassionate care is central to Myka’s practice. She focuses on listening to and partnering with her patients so they can make informed decisions about their care throughout their cancer journey. 

Myka earned a Master of Science in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Kentucky in Lexington. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her experience includes more than a decade in the oncology field as an infusion nurse, medical assistant and radiation therapist.  

A Vermont native, Myka enjoys exploring Virginia’s beaches and mountains with her family and dogs. She is an avid runner and painter.
