About Margaret Erin Renkel, ACNP
After undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee, Erin earned a Master of Science in Nursing from the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2001. She is board-certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
An experienced Nurse Practitioner, Erin sees her profession as an opportunity to serve the people in her community through medicine. Her practice is fundamentally based on treating patients with dignity and respect, and her desire is to care for each one as a friend or family member. Erin’s care for her patients includes an assessment of not only physical health, but also mental and emotional health.
Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Erin enjoys living close to the coast yet not far from the mountains. She and her husband appreciate the Hampton Roads area’s array of children’s activities for their two sons. In her free time, Erin enjoys cooking, running and playing the piano.
