About Lisa Berta Herrmann, FNP

Lisa B. Herrmann, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in caring for patients with neurovascular conditions, including brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVMs), carotid stenosis and strokes. She provides comprehensive care for patients who have had neurovascular procedures while addressing her patients’ overall health and well-being.  

Lisa earned a Master of Science in nursing from Chamberlain University in Illinois and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from West Coast University in Anaheim, California. She is board certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Her experience includes vascular care, oncology, geriatrics and urgent care.  

Providing comprehensive care is important to Lisa’s practice. She is grateful to improve her patients’ lives with the latest treatments and techniques in the field.   

A California native, Lisa enjoys the rain and greenery of coastal Virginia. She loves exploring the region with her family and appreciates the lack of congestion on city streets compared to Southern California. When she is not at work, Lisa takes time to cook, paint, garden, bike and swim, and she especially values the time spent with her kids.
