About Linda Summers, PA-C

El Summers, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant specializing in cardiology, including preventive cardiology, heart failure and heart disease. El provides evidence-based care as a trusted provider and advocate for health and well-being. She listens to her patients’ concerns and provides compassionate and thorough care.

El earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She received her Doctorate in Medical Science in education and organizational leadership at the University of Lynchburg in Lynchburg. She is board certified as a physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).  El is a respected fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and an associate of the American College of Cardiology.

Born and raised in the Hampton Roads area, El enjoys providing comprehensive care to the community while treating each patient with consideration and kindness. In addition to the wonderful people in the area, El appreciates the beaches, mountains and abundance of outdoor activities Virginia has to offer. Fluent in Spanish, she likes to travel, spend time with her family and canine companion, Dak, and she is interested in viticulture and wine education.
