About Krystal Ann Wright, FNP

 

Krystal received a professional nursing diploma from the Riverside School of Health Careers in 2009. She later went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from James Madison University in 2016, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in 2019. Krystal is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.

Along with her education and training, Krystal’s advanced practice in nursing is built on a decade of experience as a Registered Nurse at Riverside Regional Medical Center, where she was repeatedly nominated as a “Champion of Caring.” As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Krystal is driven by a heartfelt desire to care for others throughout all stages of life.

Krystal is a Norfolk native who enjoys spending time with her family.

This was the BEST experience yet first pcp I had did not listen or take my complaints seriously but did manage to write in notes I was obese. No one has said that before. I realize I'm overwt but to read that in a note made me cry. The second pcp didn't seem too interested either but then I found she was leaving the practice so that could be why Krystal Wright was recommended to me by a friend and she is awesome. Listened to what I said, had suggestions and plenty of f/u plans I think very highly of her so far. I'm a retired RN but I don't expect to dictate my care but I do expect to participate and that is exactly what Krystal did at this appointment.

NP K. Wright is amazing! She's the reason I keep coming back to Patriot Care in Yorktown. She's prepared for each visit (read my records and is up to date on any other medical issues that came up since my last visit) and she addresses any concerns I have.
