About Juliane F Davis-Lowther, FNP
After earning a bachelor’s degree in nuclear medicine technology from Old Dominion University in 2005, Juliane graduated from the Riverside School of Professional Nursing as a Registered Nurse in 2011. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from ODU and a Master of Science in Nursing from the George Washington University, completing her studies in 2016. Juliane is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Juliane began her medical career in cardiology as a nuclear medicine technologist before developing a desire to help others through nursing. Upon becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she was personally inspired to practice pulmonary medicine by her own child’s struggle with asthma. Because Juliane knows how scary it is to feel helpless when faced with breathing problems, she is committed to providing the best care for each of her patients.
Juliane approaches medicine with a holistic approach that is not limited to one organ or system. With care and compassion, her goal is to look at each individual as a whole in order to optimize treatment and overall wellbeing. Juliane works hard to ensure that all of her patients’ expectations and needs are met.
After Juliane’s early childhood in Germany, she moved to Hampton and graduated from Kecoughtan High School. Today she still loves living in Hampton Roads, where she often spends quality time with her parents and three brothers, who all reside nearby. Juliane and her husband, Frank, an engineer, have two young sons. In her free time, Juliane enjoys being active with CrossFit and basketball.
