About Jawwad Jahangir Khan, MD

Dr. Khan is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. In addition, he has a Master of Physiology, also from VCU. He completed his residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center and is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Khan chose the field of obstetrics and gynecology because he enjoys caring for women throughout many stages of life. He also enjoys the opportunity to practice acute care medicine. "I couldn't see myself happier in any other field of medicine or for that matter, any other occupation." Dr. Khan's mother is a pediatrician and was a major influence in his life. "It is from her that I understand the importance of the maternal-child bond."

Married to an OB/GYN, Dr. Khan enjoys photography, biking and kayaking.
