About Anne Elizabeth Kennedy, FNPBC

Anne graduated from the Riverside School of Health Careers with a nursing diploma in 2013. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in nursing from American Public University in 2017 and a Master of Science in nursing from Old Dominion University in 2020. Anne is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

After serving as a combat life-saver for the U.S. Army and an emergency medical technician, Anne began her nursing career in emergency and forensic medicine. She not only developed experience with a wide spectrum of medical conditions, but also a fervent advocacy for her patients’ needs that continues to characterize her practice today.

Anne was drawn to gastroenterology for the opportunity to build relationships with patients and their families. She has a particular interest in pancreatic and liver disease. It is important to Anne to provide the best available treatment options while expressing compassion and support for every patient’s wishes.

Anne is originally from Richmond but now resides in Gloucester, where she enjoys the people and variety of cultural backgrounds. In addition to interests that include reading, sports and gardening, she has a passion for homestead farming with the intention to be self-sufficient.
