About Angela Suzanne Bowman, MD

Angela Bowman, M.D., is a board-certified family medicine physician specializing in comprehensive health maintenance, including well-checks, family planning, hypertension, diabetes, asthma and infections. She has a special interest in women’s health, including Nexplanon inserts. Dr. Bowman enjoys establishing long-term relationships with patients of all ages.  

Dr. Bowman earned her medical degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She completed a residency in family medicine at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth Hinsdale (formerly Adventist Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdale, Illinois). She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. 

Dr. Bowman has a wide range of experience in the United States and abroad, including urgent care, occupational medicine and primary care. She values developing manageable care plans, providing health and wellness education, and actively listening to meet her patients’ health goals.  

Outside work, Dr. Bowman enjoys hiking, going to the beach, scuba diving, practicing yoga and traveling. Originally from the friendly mid-west, she appreciates how welcoming our coastal community has been for her family.
