Lisa M. Edwards, M.A., CCC-SLP
Lisa M. Edwards, M.A., CCC-SLP is a graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania where she earned her MA in Speech-Language Pathology. Lisa holds a BS in Music Education with a concentration in Voice. She has recently relocated from the Washington, D.C. area where she completed her clinical fellowship. Lisa is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and an active member of the arts community where she enjoys assisting singers and professional voice users. Lisa is also a certified clinician in Lee Silverman Voice Therapy – LOUD for treatment of Parkinson’s disease. Lisa is elated to return to Williamsburg, her home away from home, where she was previously seen on the Busch Gardens stages.
Candice Gingles, COTA
Colorado Springs native Candice Gingles has been working as a certified occupational therapy assistant for 7 years. With opportunities in many different fields including pediatrics, geriatrics, and wellness coaching, she has honed skills that attribute to her ability to provide meaningful, impactful care to our patients.
With a passion for working with conditions such as Parkinsons Disease and other neurological disorders, Candice is LSVT BIG certified to provide unique interventions to help people thrive and return to a better quality of life. She believes highly in empowering people to understand their condition and learn how to overcome obstacles. As someone who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis many years ago, she has a deep sense of empathy that weaves into every encounter she has with her patients.
Upon joining the Riverside family, she earned her certification as a Lymphedema Therapist in 2023 in order to continue to grow as a clinician and expand her skills to help even more individuals in the region. When she is not loving her job and helping to uphold the Riverside mission to treat others as she would for those she loves, you can find her enjoying the outdoors, live music, spending time with her family or reading a good book.
Ron Hastings, PT
Ron Hastings is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, spent 9 years in the US Airforce as a helicopter mechanic prior to choosing his next career. His passion for exercise and interest in the medical field led him to pursue his Doctor of Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in 2020. He enjoys working with all patient populations with the goal of maintaining and regaining independence in the activities they love.
When he is not in the clinic, Ron enjoys camping, woodworking, golf, playing guitar, and spending time with his wife and children.
Karen McPadden, PT
Karen McPadden graduated from East Carolina University in 1999 with a Master’s in Physical Therapy and certified in LSVT-BIG. She has worked in a variety of therapy settings gaining a well-rounded perspective of neurological disorders including stroke, traumatic brain injury, Multiple Sclerosis, hydrocephalus, adults with Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s disease, and gait and balance disorders. She is our Movement Disorder Specialist and Neuro therapist at our Lightfoot location She also enjoys working with patients with Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome using the Muldowney program. In her spare time she enjoys traveling to the Canadian Rockies to hike and admire the wildlife.
Joey Ravenscraft, OPTA
Joseph graduated with honors from Medical Careers Institute in 2019 as a Physical Therapist Assistant with an Assoicates in Applied Sciences. Since working as a PTA, he has been furthering his passion for all things rehabilitative. Joseph has achieved his OPTA certification that has helped him hone his Orthopedic skills enabling him to have the knowledge and confidence to aid his patients to their best rehab potential possible. Joseph has worked in a variety of patient settings to include outpatient orthopedic, workers comp, personal injury, and pediatrics. When not in the clinic, Joseph enjoys spending time with his wife and three children the most. You can find them going to the beach, Busch Gardens, out to eat, sporting events, and doing most anything outdoors.
Tracey Scholl, PTA
Tracey graduated from Radford University in 2004 with A BS in Exercise, Sport and Health Education. While attending RU Tracey obtained her Certified personal trainer certification (CPT) and worked at a local gym helping those obtain their fitness goals. Later Tracey decided to return to school with a focus on becoming a physical therapist assistant and graduated in 2018 from Medical Career Institute at ECPI. She began her career working at an outpatient facility where she was able to work towards getting her LSVT BIG certification with a focus on working with Parkinson patients and other neurological disorders. Since than Tracey has worked in SNF, acute care, home health and outpatient care. When not in the clinic you can find Tracey out in the community with her husband and 2 sons, at school events and being active outdoors.
James "Patrick" Soukup, MOTR/L, CLT-ALM, LSVT BIG
Patrick attended James Madison University for both undergraduate and graduate school. He received his Master’s in Occupational Therapy in 2007. In 2018, he began working for Riverside in the Outpatient Clinic in Williamsburg. He is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist and received his certification in Advanced Lymphedema Management in 2019. In addition, Patrick also has his certification in the LSVT BIG program which is geared toward increasing amplitude of movement for those with Parkinson’s. When not at work, Patrick enjoys spending his time with his family, especially his wife and daughter.
Corey Sylvain, PT
Corey graduated from the University of New England is 2002 with a master’s degree in Physical Therapy. From there he went on to complete a 1-year residency training program at IOMT specializing in the Kaltenborn approach to manual therapy. He obtained his Master’s in Public Health from the University of New England in 2017 and uses the knowledge to promote lifestyle medicine as a part of his practice. His specializations include spine therapy, sports conditioning, vestibular rehabilitation, and fall prevention. Personally, he enjoys family time, the outdoors, woodworking, and golfing.
