Team member, patient, resident and visitor safety will always be our top priority. From visiting loved ones to wearing masks, we have the information you need.
Masking is optional unless you:
- Have tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 10 days
- Have symptoms or are seeking treatment for a viral illness such as COVID-19 or the flu.
- Have been in close contact with anyone suspected or confirmed to have a viral illness such as COVID-10 or the flu.
- Please view our current COVID-19 safety signage at Riverside Doctors Hospital Williamsburg.
If you are experiencing any of the above, please see below for guidance:
- Patients – Please notify us upon arrival.
- Visitors – Please do not enter.
- One visitor at a time for patients on transmission-based precautions including COVID-19 or patients suspected of having COVID-19 (PUI).
- Visitors for patients on transmission-based precautions must wear the appropriate PPE.

General Inpatient Units: Each patient may have up to four visitors at a time. Visitation is 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Children 12 and below are permitted but must be escorted by a parent or guardian. Visitors of patients with isolation precautions must wear all required personal protective attire.
Critical Care Units: Each patient may have up to two visitors at a time. Visitation is 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Children 12 and below are permitted but must be escorted by a parent or guardian. Visitors of patients with isolation precautions must wear all required personal protective attire.
Emergency Department: Two visitors at a time may accompany each adult patient in a room. Visitors may switch out during the visitation period. Two parents or guardians may accompany pediatric patients. Visitation is restricted for patients suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19.
Outpatient procedures: Outpatient procedures allow two visitors of any age in the waiting area and patient treatment room.
Outpatient departments and clinics: Outpatient clinics and outpatient departments allow one visitor of any age in the waiting area and patient treatment room.
Infusion Centers: At this time, no visitors are allowed in our infusion suites.
Cafeteria: Our cafeteria is open to all patients & their visitors.
