About Sarah Goldman Aledia, AGACNP

Board-certified nurse practitioner Sarah Aledia joined Riverside Health System after earning her Master of Science in nursing from Drexel University in Philadelphia. Sarah brings more than seven years of progressive nursing experience — from clinician to floating RN to charge nurse in a large medical/surgical unit. She completed her bachelor's in nursing at the University of Virginia's College at Wise.

Having assisted with many orthopedic procedures and total joint repairs as an operating room nurse, Sarah found orthopedics to be a natural fit — but it was also personal experience that drew her to the field. Growing up playing sports, Sarah understands firsthand that injuries and orthopedic problems come with the territory.

Sarah specializes in treating foot and ankle injuries and maintains three guiding principles in her practice: be honest, do what's right and always explain, educate and teach along the way. With a confident yet down-to-earth manner, she strives to listen carefully to each patient, make sure they feel worthy and earn their complete trust.

A native of Hampton Roads, Sarah is happy to be back "home" and close to family as she and her husband raise their young daughter (and a dog). She still loves sports (both playing and watching) and also enjoys boating, fishing, camping, reading, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
