About Muhammad Masab, MD

Muhammad Masab, M.D., is a fellowship-trained hematologist and oncologist, triple board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine. He specializes in caring for patients with various types of cancer and hematologic diseases. Dr. Masab believes in treating patients like family and applies the latest therapeutic advances available to his patients.  

Dr. Masab earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan. He completed his internal medicine residency at Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He also completed a hematology-oncology fellowship at Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. He was appointed as a chief fellow during the last year of his fellowship. Dr. Masab served as an assistant professor of medicine at West Virginia University for two years before coming to Riverside.   

Dr. Masab dedicates his work to continually improving patient care. He is a researcher, author and co-author on several studies related to cancer, cancer treatment and symptom management for patients with cancer. He approaches his patients with compassion, listening to and addressing all their concerns.
