A board-certified nurse midwife, Meghan joined Riverside after earning a Master of Science in nursing from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, KY. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Thomas Edison State University in Trenton, NJ, where she was a member of the Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society and won an Arnold Fletcher Award for academic achievement.

Meghan has more than 13 years of nursing experience as both a staff and charge nurse, and has worked in women’s health since 2012. Over the years she developed a passion for the birthing process and a desire to provide a more personal level of care, which ultimately led her to pursue midwifery.

With a particular interest in supporting women through unmedicated childbirth, Meghan regards her relationship with patients as a partnership rooted in trust and compassion. She strives to keep both patients and their families at the center of every interaction and decision, and hopes to continue supporting patients with their health goals long after childbirth.

Married with three daughters, Meghan enjoys reading mystery novels, drinking coffee, shopping and walking her two dogs — a Blue Heeler named Juniper and a Jack Russel mix named Daisy. She and her family recently moved from Pennsylvania to Virginia to be closer to family, and she looks forward to spending plenty of time near the water.
