About Mashour Yousef, MD
After earning his medical degree from the Tishreen University College of Medicine in Syria, Dr. Yousef completed an internal medicine residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York in 1994. He completed a fellowship in hematology, medical oncology and bone marrow/stem cell transplantation at the Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Yousef is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, hematology and medical oncology.
Dr. Yousef enjoys the rapidly evolving field of hematology and oncology, especially the exciting development of novel treatments and the rewarding opportunity for special relationships with patients and their families. Believing that every medical case is unique, he promises each of his patients his full attention and dedication to their wellbeing. Specializing in the diagnosis and personalized treatment of cancer and blood disease, Dr. Yousef has expertise in chemotherapy administration, genetic counseling and immunotherapy.
Originally from Syria, Dr. Yousef has lived in the U.S. since 1990. He enjoys the nice people and diverse culture in Hampton Roads, finding it to be a lovely environment in which to raise a family. Dr. Yousef and his wife have three daughters. His hobbies include soccer, chess and spending time with his family.
