About Josiah David Hilerio, PA-C

Josiah Hilerio, PA, is a physician assistant specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of gastrointestinal illnesses and digestive conditions. He is passionate about empowering patients with knowledge and understanding of their disease process and treatment plan.

Josiah completed the Physician Assistant Program and earned his Master of Science in health sciences at George Washington University in Washington, DC. Before that, he earned a Master of Public Health degree from the Milken Institute School of Public Health, also at George Washington University.

Committed to providing each patient compassionate care, Josiah enjoys helping patients improve their gastrointestinal health and treats them as if they were his own family. He believes in giving back to the community and has served on the front lines of health care for years as a patient transporter, emergency department technician and has provided essential health services to underserved populations on medical mission trips.

Josiah grew up in the Hampton Roads area. He loves how close he is to the beach and state parks. When he’s not at work, Josiah enjoys running, playing the violin and watching films.
