About Jacob Michael Lantry, MD

Dr. Lantry, a fellowship trained surgeon, specializes in fractures of the pelvis and hip socket, joint fractures and multiple injuries. He chose orthopedics because he enjoys the immediate gratification of repairing a broken bone, relieving pain and seeing his patients’ increased mobility in the months following surgery.

 

Jacob M. Lantry, M.D., earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Thomas More College and a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. His additional training includes fellowships in clinical research at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, in orthopedic trauma surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center and an orthopedic surgery residency at Stony Brook University Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

 

Dr. Lantry lives in Newport News with his wife, Kristen. He enjoys the water and the rich history of Hampton Roads.
