About Connor James Ericksen, MD

Connor Ericksen, M.D., is a fellowship-trained eye doctor specializing in diseases of the retina, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular disorders and retinal detachment. Dr. Ericksen treats each patient like family and appreciates the opportunity to make a real difference in his patients' lives.

Dr. Ericksen earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. He finished a residency in ophthalmology at the Medical University of South Carolina Ralph Johnson VA Medical Center in Charleston, and he completed a surgical retina fellowship with the Wolfe Eye Clinic in Des Moines, Iowa. Dr. Ericksen is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Throughout his training, he received numerous awards for his service to the community and compassionate treatment of patients and colleagues. He volunteered his time and expertise in providing eye exams and glaucoma screenings to community members with limited access to eye care. 

Outside work, Dr. Ericksen lives an active lifestyle with his wife and two children. Together, they enjoy bike riding, skiing and playing ping pong.
