Candidates for the APP fellowship are newly graduated Acute Care Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants/Associates who are board-certified or board eligible. Successful completion of board certification is required to begin onboarding. Candidates should complete certification examination immediately after graduation to ensure adequate timing for the credentialing processes. Additional candidates may include Acute Care NPs or PAs who are board-certified and currently practicing in another specialty with a desire to transition to a career in Critical Care.
Applicant Requirements:
- Have graduated or anticipate graduating from an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or PA program with master’s degree
- Nationally board certified (or plan to take and must pass prior to commencement of program)
- Be in good standing with master’s program.
- CV or Resume
- Submit 500-word Letter of Intent outlining your professional goals and interests related to the fellowship.
- Submit 3 reference contacts including one from a physician, one academic and one from a previous preceptor.
- Current unofficial transcripts from Master’s Program
- Participation in a TEAMS screening interview
