Classrooms (Age Guidelines)
- Young Infants: 6 weeks to 9 months
- Older Infants: 9 to 14 months
- Young Toddlers: 14 to 18 months
- Older Toddlers: 18 to 24 months
- Pre-School 2's: 2 to 3 years
- Pre-School 3's: 3 to 4 years
- Pre-K: 4 to 5 years
- School Age: 5 to 8 years
We offer a curriculum that includes teaching and working with children on academic, social-emotional and physical skills to assist them in reaching developmental milestones. We offer arts & crafts, music & movement, cognitive & language arts, science & character education, and center & outside play. We also offer a variety of extracurricular activities and events. We provide a family environment and our vision is to provide each child we serve the opportunity to develop mind and body to be successful in every aspect of their life.
Our center is open Monday-Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. with the exception of New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July Fourth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. We also open late and close early near certain holidays. When Christmas Day and New Year's Day fall on a Saturday, the center is closed the Friday before. When they fall on a Sunday, the center is closed the Monday after. For more information about our center and for tuition rates & fees, please call the center at 757-594-3300. *Riverside Child Development & Learning Center currently has a waiting list for all classrooms. We are able at times to offer temporary space. Please contact the center for more information about this option.
Our classrooms are currently filled as listed below. Space will be offered to those on our waitlist first. The center maintains a waiting list for families needing care. If space is not available at the time of interest, you may be placed on our waiting list for a nonrefundable fee of $50 Riverside, $75 Non-Riverside. If we are able to enroll your child, that fee will go towards the initial registration fee of $100 Riverside, $150 Non-Riverside. Please note that being placed on the waiting list DOES NOT guarantee space will become available. We will do our very best to accommodate families, however we must maintain classroom ratios.

Riverside Child Development and Learning Center strives to provide the very finest and rewarding child care services available in the area.
