What is Health Equity?
Health equity means everyone has a fair chance to be as healthy as possible. This includes people of all races, ethnicities, abilities, sexual orientations, genders, and economic backgrounds. Our goal is to make sure everyone receives the best health care, regardless of their situation.

In 2024, all hospitals must prove they are working towards health equity. Riverside Health is dedicated to this cause. We follow guidelines from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to ensure we meet the required standards.
