December 6 Event in White Stone Gives Residents an Opportunity to Meet and Mingle with Local Riverside Medical Providers in a Casual Environment
Riverside Health on the Northern Neck, the Middle Peninsula and Tappahannock will host a free “Get to Know Your Doctors” social event Dec. 6 at the White Stone Church of the Nazarene, located at 57 Whisk Drive in White Stone.
Complete with food catered by the Car Wash Café and hundreds of dollars in door prizes, the evening aims to help connect residents throughout the region with the very providers bringing medical care close to home.
Attendees are encouraged to come and chat with doctors, nurses and other Riverside team members serving the community from Riverside Tappahannock Hospital, Riverside Walter Reed Hospital and the growing number of other Riverside practices locally.
Participating in the event are:
- Primary Care doctors and representatives from the full complement of Riverside specialties, including General Surgery, Urology, Otolaryngology (ENT), Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Neurology and Sleep Specialists, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Ophthalmology and Orthopedicspedics;
- Cancer Care Services team members, including representatives from Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Integrative Medicine and the Patient Navigator teams;
- Imaging Services and Emergency Services representatives from both Riverside Walter Reed and Riverside Tappahannock Hospitals; and
- Aging Related Services team members from communities and programs such as the Sanders Retirement Village, The Orchard, Saluda Convalescent Center, F.A.M.I.L.I.E.S., Hospice, Home Health, In-Home Technology and Geriatric Medicine/Palliative Care.
