Williamsburg, Va. – Patriots Colony At Williamsburg completed its most recent expansion project, the new three-building independent living residences, Presidents Pavilion, featuring 60 new apartments, and is welcoming new residents, Riverside Health System announced this week.
Located near historic Williamsburg, surrounded by 90 wooded acres and a National Park Service property, Patriots Colony At Williamsburg is a Riverside Health System continuing care retirement community – offering independent living, assisted living, memory support, nursing home and short-term rehabilitation services – for those 55 and older. Independent living is reserved for residents who are former military officers of the seven uniformed services, civil servants and their spouses or widow(er)s.
The addition of Presidents Pavilion brings the total independent living residences in the community to 242 apartments and homes serving 400 residents.
Each building has five stories with covered parking as the first story.

The three buildings are named after Virginia's early leaders George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and James Madison. The style incorporates the traditional brick-accented exterior and blends seamlessly into Patriots Colony's traditional yet distinguished architecture and design.
These new apartment homes feature three different floor plans: The Williamsburg, The Jamestown and The Yorktown. The three distinct apartment layouts range from 1,600 to 1,900 square feet.
Layout features include: one- and two-bedroom options; spacious floor plans with unobstructed views between kitchen, dining and great rooms; master suite with sprawling master bath, double vanity and walk-in closet; and in select units, a second bedroom and a den.
Additional amenities for residents of the Presidents Pavilion include: full- size kitchens; full- size washers and dryers; patios and balconies; oversized windows; 24-hour emergency response system; and housekeeping.
