Advanced Ultrasound Fellowship Program

The fellowship curriculum is a hybrid model designed to include educational opportunities tailored to the fellows' most efficient learning styles. It is modeled after the suggestions of the American Board of Emergency Medicine Focus Practice Designation in Advanced Emergency Ultrasonography. A specific curriculum for the ARDMS examination is also available. Highlights of the curriculum include:

  • Curriculum Texts: Point of Care Ultrasound by Soni et al. and Ma and Mateer's Ultrasound.
  • Qbanks Access: Core Ultrasound Qbank, Rosh Review Qbank, and Prepry Q-bank.
  • ED Scanning Shifts: Shifts with core ultrasound faculty.
  • Echocardiography Technologist: Access and support.
  • Weekly Meetings: Regular educational meetings with core faculty.
  • Monthly Research Meetings: Research in Progress meetings and research methods support.
  • Fellowship Establishment Education: Training in the establishment of a fellowship, machine maintenance, and billing.
  • Funding: Support for attending ultrasound management courses and advanced topics.
