New Hires
Welcome to RiversideThe new hire process may seem overwhelming, but below is a roadmap to help guide you through your new hire, onboarding, and orientation experience here at Riverside.
Application
Candidates can search for jobs here. Once you identify the job(s) you are interested in and qualify for, simply create (or sign into) your Workday account and follow the prompts for the application process. Once applications are submitted, our recruiters review the application against the job description requirements.
Interview
Once reviewed and accepted by our recruitment team, the application (including uploaded resume) is sent to hiring leaders for their review. If selected for an interview, you will hear directly from the hiring leaders. Some positions do introduction interviews along with panel interviews. Hiring leaders will use the phone number and email address listed on the application, so please ensure this information is updated and accurate.
Pre-Employment
If an offer is extended, there are steps you must take to ensure your start date is not delayed: 1) signing your offer letter, 2) completing a background check, 3) filling out professional references, 4) submitting required supporting documents to Human Resources, 5) attending your New Hire Assessment appointment at Employee Occupational Health, 6) any other requests made by HR Support Services. Please monitor your emails, phone calls, and your Workday account in case there are timely requests.
First Day
Today is the day – YAY! Welcome to the team! After new team members clear their pre-employment process, there are emails (with instructions) to set up your employee access so that you can attend your orientation on the first day! For some team members, this will be a virtual training, while others will attend in-person orientation. This would also be the time to ensure you’ve completed things like setting up direct deposit, filling out your tax forms, etc. Please reach out to HRSS if you have questions or issues with your email instructions.
Orientation
Whether joining our team in a clinical or non-clinical capacity, every team member here at Riverside will go through orientation. Facility orientation, department orientation, and clinical orientation schedules will be shared with you once you are cleared to start and receive your welcome emails.
30/60/90 Meetings
During the first three months with us, HR and leaders will do regular check-ins to ensure team members have the resources they need, are finding the work they do rewarding, and asking what we can do to provide you additional support. However, please do not feel like you must wait for these meetings if there is something that comes up – reach out any time!
