Honoring Our Veterans: A Commitment to Service Beyond the Uniform

Riverside Health proudly supports veterans and their families by offering dedicated programs that pave the way for rewarding careers in healthcare, recognizing their unwavering commitment to serving others. Explore our partnerships and opportunities designed to honor your service and transition to civilian life.

The Military Medics and Corpsman (MMAC) Program provides valuable career pathways for transitioning service members, veterans, members of the Guard and Reserve, and military spouses. Riverside Health collaborates with the MMAC team to support these individuals in pursuing civilian roles within the health system. We assist transitioning combat medics, corpsmen, and medical technicians in finding clinical positions, while also helping those whose military training and expertise align with our non-clinical roles. Additionally, we partner with military spouses to help them build or continue their careers, both in clinical and non-clinical fields.

Military Medics and Corpsmen (MMAC) Program

Riverside Health is certified by the Virginia Values Veterans (V3) program. This program helps Riverside develop long-term strategies to recruit, hire, and retain Virginia Veterans and their spouses. They offer peer-to-peer support through the transition process, host hiring events, and resume writing and review courses.

Military Medics and Corpsmen (MMAC) Program

The Partnership for Your Success (PaYS) Program partners the U.S. Army with Riverside. This program guarantees interviews and possible employment for American Soldiers after they serve their country. Soldiers who participate gain opportunities to join organizations like Riverside who understand the value of military service.
