1. What is an expected salary for residents?
Salaries are reviewed annually. 2023 salaries: PGY1 $60,772, PGY2 $62,383, PGY3 $65,858

Paid Time Off
- PTO (Paid Time Off) plans are used for vacation, holidays and time off. Each program year the Resident receives 20 days of PTO
- Sick Time for Resident's own illness is 12 days each program year
- Resident Paid Leave for approved medical, parental, and caregiver leave(s) of absence up to six (6) weeks (or 240 hours), available to use on a continuous or intermittent basis, at any time during Resident's participation in a program

- Professional malpractice insurance paid for by Riverside Regional Medical Center, while participating in a Riverside Residency Program
- Uniforms, certain personalized uniforms based on program year
- One-time Moving Stipend of up to $1,000 (taxed)
- Resident Education Fund helps to pay for books, study materials and approved devices. In year 2 and beyond it can cover certain exam fees/dues, licensure and conference/courses as approved by the Program Director and based on the availability of funds
