Making an Impact One Patient at a Time
Lauren Sabatini looked into a few medical fields before finding the perfect fit with physical therapy. She enjoyed the outpatient setting because of the variety of patient function and mobility goals. “Some patients come here with the goal of re-learning to walk and some are looking to return to sports.”
But the most satisfying aspects of her work are the relationships she develops with patients while helping them recover. “We work one-on-one with patients, spending a lot of time with them and seeing their journey throughout recovery. Some days are longer than others, but you always get to help people. And even just making an impact on one person’s day makes it worth it.
And a physical therapy career with Riverside has its own advantages. “I love the people that I work with. They’re all awesome. I love my position and setting. It’s been a really good fit.”
