Advancement opportunities
Nurses at Riverside have nearly unlimited opportunities to grow professionally. Every year, about 40 percent of our open positions are filled by our own team members, which demonstrates the potential for advancement.
Professional development
We support and encourage lifelong learning and advanced education, with a goal of increasing the number of BSN-prepared bedside nurses. We offer Student Loan PayDown to full-time RNs. This can help you pay down debt faster, saving money and shaving years off the life of your loan. Eligibility may vary.
Another option is educational assistance through up-front tuition reimbursement, which is available to full- and part-time team members from day one. In addition:
- We offer a pay recognition program for RNs in eligible positions who have their BSN or MSN.
- We offer Clinical Ladder programs for RNs, LPNs and CNAs to recognize and reward excellence in professional development.
- Our support for new graduates includes a Nurse Residency Program for those in the acute settings.

Our nursing team includes Registered Nurses, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nurse Aides and Nurse Aides. Our continuum includes acute care, specialty care and services, medical practices, skilled and long-term-care nursing facilities, assisted living, independent living, home health, hospice and education and research.
