Riverside Health System is pleased to welcome Shannon L. Dishman, FNP-C, to its Riverside gastroenterology practices in Gloucester and Williamsburg.
After graduating from the Riverside School of Professional Nursing, Dishman earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University. In 2018, she earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University.
Dishman is board-certified as a family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board.
With 20 years of nursing experience, mostly in the hospital setting, Dishman became a nurse practitioner to keep people as well as possible. The specialty of gastroenterology gives her that opportunity.
Dishman sees medicine as a partnership in wellness and has a true passion for patient care.
