Today, Riverside Doctors’ Hospital Williamsburg (RDHW) held a celebratory groundbreaking ceremony to commemorate the construction for an on-campus medical office building (MOB) scheduled to open in Spring of 2024. The MOB will integrate the specialty services offered in Williamsburg onto RDHW’s campus to better serve the community and streamline the health care journey for patients.
“We recognize that in order for health care to be of the highest quality, it needs to be convenient and flexible in its ability to support the unique needs of the Williamsburg community,” said Adria Vanhoozier, president of Riverside Doctors’ Hospital Williamsburg. “With our specialty care offices joining the Riverside Doctors’ Hospital campus, Williamsburg will continue to receive the high-quality care it deserves. We look forward to strengthening the connection between everyday health care and additional resources, expertise and support needed for the most successful health care journey and outcomes.”
The nearly 67,725 square-foot facility is designed to care for patients across a wide-range of specialty care needs. The new MOB will have more than 30 medical and surgical specialists supported by over 125 ancillary and support team members. The state-of-the-art building will include:
- Orthopedics
- Outpatient Rehabilitation
