As COVID-19 continues, health care workers remain committed to facing the challenges of this pandemic. Riverside recognizes that each of their team members, with their care, commitment and resiliency, are helping to work through these challenges and support the care of their patients and residents. To help show their gratitude, Riverside is giving team members a recognition bonus of up to $1,500 for working through the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We are truly grateful for all of our team members and for their continued dedication and hard work during this pandemic,” said Bill Downey, CEO of Riverside Health System.
Riverside has designated $10 million to support team member recognition through a one-time bonus that will be paid in March of this year. This recognition payment will be offered to team members hired on or before Jan. 1, 2022. Physicians, Associate Vice Presidents and above are not included in this one-time payment.
“It was rewarding to know that we were being acknowledged and recognized for the work that we are doing,” says Dayla Johnson, Patient Benefits Specialist at Riverside Regional Medical Center. “They did not have to give us something extra for the work that we are doing. I am very grateful and thankful.”
This recognition bonus is an additional investment to the more than $20 million towards team member compensation that Riverside announced in October of 2021.
