Riverside Received Resolution from Virginia General Assembly for 100 Years of Care

Riverside hosted a celebration yesterday evening to recognize the Founder's Society members and their contribution of time, talent and treasure to Riverside. A highlight of the event was the reading of the resolution passed by the Virginia State Senate commending the system's 100 years of care to the region. The Honorable John Miller, District 1 Senator, read the resolution to the more than 80 distinguished guests.

There are over 60 Riverside Founder’s Society members.  Members of the Founder’s Society embody the vision of Riverside’s early founders – to provide the best possible care for the people of the communities we serve. It is through the generous philanthropic investments and advocacy of these members that Riverside will continue to live out our Founder’s vision and Riverside’s mission by providing remarkable care into the next century and beyond.

In addition to the Senate resolution, Riverside also received a similar resolution from the Virginia House of Delegates.
