Latest Installment of Acclaimed Educational Series for Families, Volunteers and Professional Caregivers from the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving
Williamsburg, VA – Riverside Center for Excellence in Aging and Lifelong Health (CEALH) has released the winter 2018 edition of its “Caring for You, Caring for Me” program – a weekly seminar series offering support and guidance for those who care for older adults. Online registration is now open.
Riverside’s acclaimed program is sanctioned by the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving (RCI), a national organization promoting recognition and assistance to both family and professional caregivers. It has earned Best Practices Awards from both the Southern Gerontological Society and the Commonwealth Council on Aging.
“As the population of older adults continues to grow, there is a critical need to give their caregivers the help they all need to thrive,” said Christine Jensen, Ph.D., CEALH's Director of Health Services Research. “Standing with RCI, Riverside CEALH is proud to offer the latest session of our ‘Caring for You, Caring for Me’ program, giving both professional caregivers and family members alike a unique chance to share experiences and learn valuable new approaches.”
