As part of its commitment to building healthy communities, and in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Riverside Shore Cancer Center will host a free breast cancer screening event on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2019 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
Attendees will receive a free clinical breast examination by a nurse practitioner who will check for lumps or other physical changes to the breast and surrounding areas. If follow ups are needed, personalized assistance will be available to streamline the process.
Space for the examinations is limited. Appointments are required by calling 757-302-2600.
The Riverside Shore Cancer Center is located at 20480 Market St. in Onancock.
