Riverside began serving the Virginia Peninsula community in 1916. In 1963 Riverside moved to the present 72-acre location in Newport News on J. Clyde Morris Boulevard. A 450-bed facility, Riverside Regional Medical Center is the Virginia Peninsula's most comprehensive medical facility combining the most recent computerized medical technology with a healing environment.

Intensive Cancer Care
Our nationally accredited regional cancer treatment center provides sophisticated treatment and care. Our Oncology Intensive Care Unit is the only Peninsula facility to provide stem cell and autologous bone marrow transplants.

Diagnostic centers
Riverside diagnostic testing provides your doctor with valuable information needed to plan the best course of treatment. The range of on-site testing includes: magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), CT, PET, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, electrocardiography (EKG), cardiac testing and digital mammography.
