Too late to clean up your act?

It's never too late to get healthy. If you quit smoking, for example, your blood pressure begins to improve immediately. Within 24 hours, your risk of a heart attack decreases. Within one year, your risk of heart disease is half that of a smoker. And if you're overweight, losing a modest 5 to 10 percent of your body weight can lower your blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
