Clinical Applications Analyst
Riverside Health System is seeking a full time Clinical Applications Analyst in Newport News, VA. The Clinical Applications Analyst reports to the Manager of Information Systems Physician Services. The Clinical Analyst has extensive knowledge of all Riverside Health System clinical based applications. Understands and analyzes both hospital based and outpatient physician practice operations and adapts them to a highly integrated information system. Job duties include: directly supporting all of the Riverside Health System Medical Staff providers, RMG providers, and clinical resources in the physician practice setting. Designs and conducts classroom training. Provides regular rounding and support at all Riverside Health System Hospitals and community physician practices. Implements and troubleshoots healthcare information systems. Active participation in customer support on-call duties. Maintains system security for specific applications. Performs other duties, as assigned. Educational Requirements Clinical Licensure, Clinical Certification or degree preferred. Experience Requirements Minimum of 3 years experience using Soarian and/or Centricity EMR required. (May consider equal experience using similar EHR applications). Minimum of 3 years experience directly supporting physicians and clinical operations in the hospital or physician practice setting. Must be proficient using Microsoft applications. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience with the following a plus: Teaching/training in person and via web, familiarity with medical documentation requirements and medical regulatory requirements.

Financial Systems Analyst II
Riverside Health System in Newport News, VA is seeking a full time Financial Systems Analyst II. The Financial Systems Analyst II reports to the Manager of Financial Systems of the Information System Department of Riverside Health System. Supports a variety of financial applications on multiple platforms. Job duties include all aspects of application support: The duties require good communication skills as well as strong technical skills. The job requires an ability to quickly learn and understand the customer business needs and processes. The job requires the ability to determine when the solution is a process issue or a technical solution requiring automation. The duties may include analyzing data, data manipulation, programming, maintaining application tables and profiles, developing and executing test plans, and documentation. In addition to these skills the job requires the ability to make sure all applications are backed up regularly and have minimal downtime. Lastly the job requires the ability to work well with all team members and customers in the health system. Educational Requirements 4 Year degree preferred. Intermediate Programmer Analyst
Riverside Health System is seeking a full time Intermediate Programmer Analyst. The Intermediate Programmer Analyst works under general supervision, formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs , documents and maintains those programs. Works directly with physicians, advisory committees and the Riverside VP of Clinical Informatics to analyze clinical processes and quality standards in order to adapt them via their programming skills to a highly integrated information system. Ensures that the design of the clinical content facilitates providers ability to document in accordance with necessary data capture, billing/coding requirements and quality reporting. Supports I. S. Physician Services adjunct applications and systems. Performs data mining and report writing. Works under the supervision of the I. S. Physician Services Director and Manager. Custom Section Educational Requirements Previous programming preferred. working in medical informatics or a medical practice using EMR preferred. Possess at minimum a moderate understanding of medical terminology. Experience Requirements Moderate-extensive programming preferred. working in the medical informatics field or a physician practice beneficial.

Network Engineer III Telephony
Riverside Health System is currently seeking a full-time Network Engineer III Telephony. This role reports to the Network and Security Manager. The job duties include: Designing, implementing, and troubleshooting networks and servers. This role functions as high level support resource for the Information Systems department. The Network Engineer III is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, security and operation of networks & servers within the health system. Perform other duties, as assigned. Certification/Licensure Requirements: Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert Routing and Switching (CCIE R&S) written exam or Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert Security (CCIE Security) written exam or Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert Wireless (CCIE Wireless) written exam required, and Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) Experience Requirements: Requires experience with: TCP/IP Internetworking; Designing and programming switches and/or routers independently and as part of a team; Windows and UNIX system administration; email systems; VPNs and encryption; troubleshooting network firewalls; load balancing devices; RADIUS/IAS authentication; syslog analytics; network security; Project management; End user training; Technical documentation.
