Performs duties related to patient meal services such as proper portioning and delivery of food items to meet the therapeutic nutritional guidelines, completion of production sheets and cleaning of their designated work station. In addition, this position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age appropriate meals and nourishments as described according to the departmental policy and procedure. Promotes and maintains safe work environment for staff as well as our customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives. Education: High school diploma or GED required. Must be able to read and write in English Certification: Food Handlers Card or ServSafe Certified required Experience: Previous food service experience required, preferably in a healthcare facility.
